Hi Chris,

When I decide to purchase Printripper, will I be able to get free version updates/upgrades? Also, in the near future, will you incorporate photoshop actions into the software.

Hi Allangar:

Good questions! I'll start with the easiest, PhotoShop Actions.

At this time, we have no plans to incorporate PhotoShop Actions. Our vision for PrintRipper (as well as titles to come) is to keep a laser-accurate focus on brute-force automation while keeping things as simple as possible. PrintRipper accomplishes quite a lot now, and we have much more in store.

Also keep in mind that PrintRipper serves as only a single piece to a much larger puzzle for our future software suite. Our primary goal is to give you, the single-operator photographer, the power to compete on a broader scale with much bigger outfits than you could without our titles and at a price point that blows the doors off of the larger software companies in the Event Industry. The key to realizing this vision is to continue to create software that handles a function and does it extremely well. Stay tuned, we have GREAT things on the not-so-distant horizon!

Upgrades: At this time, we have not charged for any upgrades to PrintRipper. We do no foresee that changing soon, but do keep in mind that we will change it eventually. In the mean time, don't sweat it. We're hard working folks, just like you, and will always be fair with our customers. When the time comes to change our upgrade model, we will give plenty of notice and make sure that it is a fair plan for each of you.

Thank you for the questions. We very much look forward to creating great software for you!

Regards,
--Chris

Hey Chris

Thanks for the quick reply. I downloaded the trial and I absolutely love you software! I will be purchasing the full version in a few days but had one quick question. I use a MAC and PC (for back-up) for my business and would like to know if I need to purcahse 2 different licenses to run the program on both computers. Thanks again for creating PrintRipper.

Hi Allan,

No, two purchases will not be necessary. Our activation system is universal, Mac or Windows. Please keep in mind that even though our license agreement does allow you to install on two separate systems for backup or versatile use, you should not use both machines in a production environment simultaneously.

Also note that our activation system does tie your serial number to your machine hardware. If you cannot deactivate on a system due to a crash, drive failure, etc., it is possible that you may end up with unnecessary downtime while the issue of licensing is sorted out with an Allen Christopher Rep.

I'm happy to hear that you are pleased with PrintRipper. We look forward to having you as part of our alumni!

Best Regards,
--Chris
