Allen Christopher, Inc. has opened a beta program for RoverTag™, the cross-platform mobile photo tagging software solution for Event Photography.
The concept of Rovertag™ is simple; provide a straightforward solution for tagging individual photos or groups of photos as the photographer shoots them. With an effective tagging solution comes an effective way to quickly retrieve your photos for your customers.
By combining methods already familiar to photographers with new and innovative ideas, RoverTag™ allows the photographer to concentrate on doing what they do best – taking photos.
If you don't like to be bogged down with gear but need a barcode tagging system, RoverTag™ is your solution. To use this mode a photographer needs nothing more than a camera, pre-printed barcode cards and RoverTag™.
Photograph the barcode card, shoot your pictures, and hand your barcode card to your customer. After your shooting is complete, RoverTag™ handles all of the tagging for you. When your customer comes to retrieve their photo(s), you can instantly recall them with ease, whether your shoot consisted of 100 photos or 10,000 photos.
There are other components of RoverTag™ that require specific hardware and, therefore, will not be available for beta testing at this time. Our Shoot and Sort™ mode requires the use of a Macintosh or Windows compatible computer and the availability of standard barcodes (code39) at the user's disposal. Most retail barcodes can be used and processed by RoverTag™.
